the story of...
Love's Waterfall started through a friendship. After a few years of serving and collaborating together at the Evanston Vineyard Church’s Arts Ministry team Linda began taking voice lessons from Elda. In one of those lessons, Elda asked Linda what she was doing creatively in addition to singing. Linda shared a number of song lyrics that she had completed and had been sitting in a desk drawer. Inspired by them, Elda asked if she could set the lyrics to music, and Linda happily said “yes.”
After four years of tweaking and refining each song, we are excited to share the product of this collaboration that has not only strengthened our friendship and brought us closer together, but it has also shaped our friendship with God. These songs were each birthed in a journey of healing in both lyrics and music, and through the years they have become instruments for our physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, bringing us closer and opening us to see God as our Comforter, Healer, Provider, Redeemer, and Restorer in both of our life journeys. It is our hope that the same would happen in your life, wherever you are at in your faith journey, that you would know you are loved and valued by God, and worth fighting for. May Love’s waterfall refresh your heart as you listen and give you hope and strength.
