about Linda...
Linda Anne Sylvester is a singer, keyboard player and songwriter. She started singing and playing piano at a young age instructed by her mother, Nancy Sylvester, who is a professional singer and piano player. In college, Linda performed in coffee houses and continued her musical training while getting her B.S. degree in Special Education from Illinois State University and a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. While practicing physical therapy, over the years Linda also sang, danced and helped with choreography for a barbershop singing group. She also sang and played keyboards for over 14 years with the band Aswah Greggori and the Enforcers. The band performed throughout the U.S.A. and the Caribbean alongside many famous artists, including Ziggy Marley, Toots and the Maytals, Burning Spear and many others. Linda helped record two albums with The Enforcers band; one of them, Love to Love, won “Best Reggae CD” in the Chicago Music Awards.
Ms. Sylvester started her own physical therapy practice in 2005 until present and has been involved with singing, piano playing and songwriting in the Chicagoland area and at the Evanston Vineyard Church. Linda served on the Arts Ministry team at the Evanston Vineyard under the leadership of Cindy Nicholson and Dick Ryan for many years. In 2010, Linda started a growing arts community at the Evanston Vineyard called Hope for Artists that includes artists and musicians of all different kinds and art appreciators. The group helps each member grow artistically and spiritually while sharing their creative work together, praying for each other, encouraging each other, and seeking ways to serve in the community and beyond.
Ms. Sylvester graduated in August of 2017 from Vineyard Institute with a Biblical Leadership degree and has been collaborating with Elda McGinty Peralta on this most current album titled, Love’s Waterfall, where Linda wrote the lyrics and sang harmony. She continues to write, sing, teach and perform in Evanston, Illinois, and the Chicagoland area.

about Elda...
Elda McGinty Peralta grew up in Tijuana, México. Her musical journey started at church with the children’s choir when her spiritual journey began at nine years old. Mentored by church friends and musicians, she started singing, playing guitar, and piano. After moving to San Diego in high school, pursuing a Music Education degree at Point Loma Nazarene University, teaching singing privately and in choral settings, leading worship, and getting a masters degree in classical singing at Northwestern University, she met a videographer, who shot her audition materials and later decided to ask her to join him on an adventure. Joel and Elda have been married for ten wonderful years, and now have two amazing, joyful, and energy-filled children, Ezra and Katya.
Elda started song-writing as a teenager and has continued to arrange and write worship music as a way to connect with God and encourage others. She is a trained classical singer (to learn more about that visit www.eldaperalta.com) and she is a passionate worship leader. Whatever and wherever she is singing, her desire is to live and experience a life of worship to God that is genuine and transparent, encouraging those around her to have a powerful and meaningful encounter with Jesus.
